Serbian poet, novelist and essayist. He was participant in cultural life in the interwar period as one of the main protagonists of avant-garde movements. He was one of the founders of the Belgrade Surrealist group. As a member of the Communist Party actively participate in political life.

André Breton was a French writer and poet, known best as the founder of Surrealism. His writings include the first Surrealist Manifesto (Manifeste du surréalisme) of 1924, in which he defined surrealism as "pure psychic automatism".
